An Apple a Day . . .

There's no place like The Big Apple to celebrate falls most popular fruit. And with almost 700 apple growers in the state, it's no wonder there are some mighty good apple-centric dishes and drinks being served up across the city.

First we hit up Jack's Stir Brew Coffee, serving up the 'Apple Jack' - a non-alcoholic tea-infused apple cider. Next we swung by Gray Dog's Cafe to sample their savory Granny Smith Apple and Brie Sandwich. And no day is complete without a little dessert, compliments of the Dessert Truck. Try their warm, slow-baked apple with cinnamon for a sweet treat. Sweet caramalized apple, a wonderfully flaky puff, and whipped cream topping melts our hearts. But just like everything this season, make sure to eat it while it's hot!
